Leanna Solomin is an associate focusing on defamation, media law, and complex litigation, with particular experience at the intersection of reputation, emerging media, and First Amendment issues.
Leanna earned her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law. During law school, she interned for the Supreme Court of North Carolina, completed more than 100 hours of pro bono service, and competed on the Holderness Moot Court appellate advocacy team.
For two years, Leanna served as a research assistant to Professor Mary-Rose Papandrea, where she focused on emerging issues in defamation law, newsgathering, and the reporter’s privilege. That work resulted in multiple publications with the Practising Law Institute.
Since joining the firm, Leanna has worked on matters involving defamation, reputation management, and complex litigation, including pre-litigation strategy, legal research, and drafting pleadings and briefs.
Leanna is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
