Archith is an experienced litigator who has briefed and argued cases in numerous courts of appeals and district courts across the country.  Archith is well-versed in all aspects of district court and appellate litigation, and, having worked at three different government agencies, has particular expertise in handling complex statutory and constitutional issues arising in the context of litigation brought under the Administrative Procedure Act.  As an example, while working in the Securities and Exchange Commission’s appellate group, Archith was the lead attorney in a Ninth Circuit appeal involving a First Amendment challenge to the Commission’s policy governing settlement agreements.

Prior to joining Meier Watkins Phillips Pusch, and before he joined the Securities and Exchange Commission, Archith worked as an appellate attorney at the Department of Labor and handled both district court and appellate litigation in the Department of Justice’s Office of Immigration Litigation.  He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable T.S. Ellis III of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the Honorable Dennis Jacobs of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
