Kayla is a litigation support and case management specialist with deep expertise in internet-based research, social media analysis, e-discovery, and all phases of trial preparation and presentation. She has supported high-stakes litigation across a wide range of jurisdictions and practice areas, including complex commercial cases, federal appeals, and multimillion- and multibillion-dollar disputes.

Kayla began her career in-house at a major insurance company, where she managed a docket of hundreds of active matters and supported more than 200 trials nationwide. At Clare Locke LLP, she worked closely with the founding partners of Meier Watkins Phillips Pusch LLP to oversee support for the firm’s most consequential litigation and arbitration matters—including the billion-dollar Dominion defamation cases—and its appellate practice, including proceedings before the Supreme Court of the United States.

As Senior Paralegal for the Air Line Pilots Association, International—the world’s largest airline pilot union—Kayla partnered with the General Counsel and legal team to support pilots in a wide range of labor and employment disputes. She also played a key role in launching the Washington, D.C. office of Harris St. Laurent & Wechsler LLP, a prominent New York litigation boutique.

Kayla is currently a second-year law student at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law.
